Energy Medicine

The foundation of energy medicine to health care is that everything that exists, that we see, sense or feel, is energy. Our physical bodies are comprised of various energy fields and energy systems.

Energy Medicine involves the use of energy fields to promote health. There are basically two types of energy medicine practice. The first is referred to as Subtle energy or Biofield therapies and affect energy fields that surround and penetrate the human body. Examples include : Qi Gong, Reiki, and Therapeutic Touch etc..

The second type is Vibrational medicine which is Electromagnetic-based therapies that involve the unconventional use of electromagnetic fields, such as pulsed fields, magnetic fields, or alternating current or direct current fields.  Examples include: acupuncture, magnet therapy, and pulsed electromagnetic fields, Bioresonance etc..

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is based on the theory of "Like cures Like".  A substance which can create symptoms in a healthy person can be used in smaller doses to cure those same symptoms in illness.

Biofeedback

Biofeedback refers to a non-invasive process using a device to convey real-time measurement of subtle energies of biological systems.  These measurements are then used to bring into the body's conscious awareness of blocked energy flow caused by stress.  Biofeedback uses the "stimulus - response - adaption" form of training to train the biological systems back to peak performance thus re-establishing optimal energy flow within the system.

Functional Medicine, Nutrition

Most people have nutritional deficiencies, mainly because we don't eat the way we should and our foods are grown in depleted soils.  Many of the farmland soil is considered sterile, so all kinds of artifical fertilizers are used to grow things.  Trapped emotions can also make it more difficult to absorb nutrients and they can also create deficiencies.

Nutritional deficiencies can be correctable with supplementation.

Manual Therapy, Bodywork

Nerves go out from the spinal column to different organs of the body.  The delicate spinal column and nerve roots are protected by the vertebrae of the spine.  When all the vertebrae are aligned and no pressure is put on the nerve roots, the nerves are allowed to freely carry information and instructions from the brain to the organs and tissues of the body, allowing for good organ function and communication.

Misalignment of vertebrae puts pressure on nerve and causes poor nerve communication.  This result in poor health and eventual disease.  Trapped emotions will often create subluxation.

Manual therapy aims to correct misalignments, restoring proper nervous system communication.
